Reckless Driving and Drunk Driving

If you have been arrested for DUI (driving under the influence) or reckless driving, you are facing serious legal charges. In Virginia, a DUI conviction can result in jail time, loss of license, probation, and significant fines. Reckless driving is a criminal offense (Class 1 misdemeanor) that can be punished by up to 12 months in jail, a six-month loss of license, six demerit points, and a $2,500 fine.

In each criminal case we handle, including traffic offenses, we aggressively pursue our clients' interests. In each case we ask: can the prosecution prove their case? If the prosecution can not prove their case, we seek a dismissal or not-guilty decision. If the prosecution can prove their case, we look for facts that warrant reduced charges or decreased penalties.
